Pastor Tim Howard
Tim grew up at EABC and has been on staff since 1998. His responsibilities include small groups, educational ministries, counseling, is a Stephen Leader of Stephen Ministries and assists the Senior Pastor with funerals and weddings.
Tim is a graduate from Wheaton College, where he met his wife Marti, they have two children, Marta and Caleb.
Pastor Marc Casavant
Minister of Music
Marc became a fully-devoted follower of Jesus Christ in February of 1986 under the ministry of Bill Hybels at Willow Creek Community Church in the Chicago area, and returned to Maine in October of 1989. He started attending EABC in August of 1999 with his wife Lynn, and has served in many capacities over the subsequent years, including service on praise teams, teaching 2nd and 3rd grade Sunday School and overseeing K-6th grade with his wife, serving on the boards of Christian Education and Arts in Worship, and as an Elder since 2004.
Marc came on staff in September of 2007 as the first full-time Minister of Music. In this capacity, he oversees the choir and the music program for the weekend services and oversees the sound, projection, video and other technical needs.
Marc is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross where he received his BA in Chemistry and more recently received his Advanced Bible Certificate from New England Bible College. Marc became an ordained minister on June 1, 2013.
Director of Special Events
Craig was born in 1989 and grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as his Savior in May of 1996. He has worked with youth groups, Christian summer camps and local church ministries. Craig joined EABC as an intern working with the youth ministry in January of 2013 and was hired as Youth Pastor in January of 2014.
Craig is a graduate from Clearwater Christian College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies. He married Erin “Johnston” in July of 2010 and they have two children Ella and Connor.
Diane began membership at EABC in 2006 and joined the staff in January of 2009.
Diane is involved in the care ministry which oversees most needs of those requesting assistance which can include prayer requests, food needs, hospital and nursing home visitation, rides, financial or other practical needs of the church body. She also oversees GriefShare (grief support group), the online prayerchain, is a Stephen Leader of Stephen Ministries and maintains the church website.
Diane is a graduate of University of Southern Maine with a Bacheler of Arts degree in Leadership and Organizational Studies.
Sarah started attending EABC after the fall of 1996 and joined the staff in December of 2000. She was active in the singles ministry as well as a youth volunteer for the Junior High Ministry for many years.
Sarah is currently involved in the Women’s ministry as well as the Missions Committee. She takes care of many duties in the office including scheduling of the Senior Pastor’s meetings and facilities.
Sarah is a graduate of Gordon College with a degree in Social work.
She is married to TJ who she met on a missions trip to Nigeria in 2009. They have three daughters, Natasha, Aisha and Maryam.
Roger has been attending EABC since 1995 on and off and has made it his home in 2010. Roger joined the staff in January of 2012.
Roger is a graduate of Husson College with a degree in accounting and obtained an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
Roger is married to his wife Nancy and they have two adult children.
Aimee first attended EABC in 2004 while dating her now husband, Jim. They were married at EABC and became members. Aimee volunteered in nursery for 8+ years before joining the staff as nursery coordinator in August of 2017. Aimee grew up in North Turner, Maine. She graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She taught kindergarten and first grade for nine years before choosing to stay home with her three boys Noah, Jacob, and Matthew.
DJ started working for EABC in August, 2017. DJ has lived in Maine all his life and started to enjoy winters by cross country skiing. He also loves to go fishing at the coast.
Liz became a member of East Auburn in 1996. Liz works part-time as the church secretary, answering phones, setting up the weekly bulletin, the monthly calendar and assisting the Office Administrator.
She grew up in a suburb in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Liz graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design. After working a couple years at a publishing company, she moved to Portland, Maine and worked in the art department at a local newspaper where she met her husband, Russell. After getting married, they moved to a farm in Auburn and have two children, Rachel and Ryan. Liz’s hobbies include cooking, gardening, camping and alpine skiing.
Betsy has been attending EABC for 25 years and joined the staff in 2016 servig in the nursery and began cleaning in August, 2017. Betsy is actively involved in Pioneer Girls, Christmas Spectacular, the Easter Event, VBS and the nursery. Betsy is married to Tom and they have 4 children, Julia, Jacob, Sam and Abby.
Andrea started attending EABC in April 1991 and became a member in 1992. She joined the staff in November of 2013 as a
Andrea currently participates on one of the praise teams, serves in Women’s Ministries and the Greeter Ministry. Her office duties include answering the phones, filing, the CD ministry and assisting the Office Manager. She is a graduate of Mid-State College with an associates degree in Secretarial Sciences - Administrative Assistant.
She is married to Bret and they have two sons, Anthony and Alex.
